At the beginning of everything was a mass. Unmoving, writhing in the dark, and alone, this mass had a thought. It could be more than this.

And so it was.

The Will spoke, hummed, sang, and vomited up a world.

You are a part of it. It is terrible and cruel. The earth screams for all her children to return to her through death. The sky and seas send their children to eat the flesh of mortals. Demons and monsters wait outside the lamplight, guided by the words of their mother, the void, to force mortals to advance. The world is cruel.
